The tradition of kimono culture hidden inside a tote bag for everyday use.

Haku may is an initiative to connect Japanese traditions and kimono culture to the future in collaboration with a brand created by lilial LLC, a company that works to integrate Japanese kimono culture into modern lifestyles.
The tote bag is designed and developed as the first step of the project. It is a delicate and beautiful gradation of colors, hand-dyed one by one by skilled craftsmen using the traditional Japanese technique of blotch dyeing.
The slim, vertical proportions can hold a 14-inch laptop computer, and both sides are made of recycled kimono fabric. The rest of the bag is made of vegan leather, making it an environmentally friendly product.
The styling was kept extremely simple, and the beautiful gradation of the dawn was hand-dyed to create a modern design that is not overly traditional.
