Depending on the material, plastic can turn yellow under the influence of ultraviolet rays. This phenomenon, known as “yellowing,” was originally frowned upon and regarded as a bad thing for industrial products.

The 3D printed ballpoint pen “Serpentinata,” which will be born in 2020, is designed to tackle this new interpretation of plastic. Serpentinata Benjamin” is a product that reinterprets the negative phenomenon of yellowing into a positive one.

The transparent material, which refracts beautifully even to the refill, turns a beautiful candy color over time and does not return to its original transparency. It is an expression of the passage of time, and at the same time, a part of the life of the user who has been using the tool for a long time.

Products such as musical instruments, small leather goods, and wooden furniture that are used by people over a long period of time become their own unique colors. This ballpoint pen will age with the user through long use, and each piece will take on its own personality. This is a special ballpoint pen that contains the pleasure of nurturing.

*The candy-colored pen has been used by Kairi Eguchi in a bright area for about six months.
*The actual sold state will be in a perfect transparent color.
