Styling design for a change in model of a digital thermo-hygrometer produced by Sato Measuring Instrument Manufacturing (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo).
Commercial thermo-hygrometers used to measure temperatures in various settings are not only held in the hands of users, but are also hung on walls or placed on a flat surfaces. We have pursued a form that is less angular and easier on the hand than conventional products. The design is configured gently yet has geometric line compositions along with smooth, organic surfaces. We designed a beautiful-looking exterior while focusing on the user’s usability.
In addition to the product itself, we designed the probe sensor and the screens as well to maintain a sense of unity throughout the product.
